Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa

www.eagleridgeresortonline.com

Nestled on 6800 acres of rolling hills, Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa offers 63 holes of award-winning golf, PGA Certified Professional instruction, and a wide array of accommodations and dining experiences. Take a shot at one of our 63 pristine challenges assembled over our North, South, and East (9 holes) courses, as well as our crowning achievement, The General.

The General

The General premiered in May of 1997 and commands a position high atop The Galena Territory. Designed by renowned architect Roger Packard and two-time U.S. Open Champion Andy North, the course has been built on the highest level of terrain in the area, sporting an elevation change of 250 feet from tee to green.

Hole #1 is a 407-yard downhill par 4 where accuracy overshadows distance all the way to the green. This is an exciting starting hole that takes you down the hill from the clubhouse into the serene valley of the front nine.

Hole #9 displays an awe-inspiring tee shot to begin this 410-yard par 4. The tee shot must carry a deep wildflower valley in order to reach the fairway, while the silo at The General clubhouse provides a good target point. The roughs on this hole are angled toward the center to help keep slightly errant tee shots in play.

Hole #13 is a long 442-yard dogleg left par 4. The fairway is wide and has a generous landing area. The green is long and narrow, requiring an accurate approach shot. Short on the approach is better than long on this green.
