Oak Meadows Golf Club

Oak Meadows Golf Club is one of three facilities of the Golf Facilities of The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. Built in the 1920’s as the Elmurst County Club, this 18-hole, tree-lined classic is one of the most historically significant courses in the Chicago golf community. Oak Meadows features a traditional “country club” layout where Golf Legend Ben Hogan won the 1941 Chicago Open.

Currently under renovation the Oak Meadows Golf Preserve Improvement Project will improve water quality within Salt Creek, expand wetlands and will create healthier ecological conditions for a diverse range of aquatic animals with the help of the Sierra Club, Audubon International and similar environmental groups.

Visit Oak Meadows Golf Club to find out more of the many improvements that are underway.
