Musings of a Golf Guy

Most players 55 and older can remember (1) bump-and-run shots; (2) using a 4-iron to 7-iron for a low-boring wind shot; (3) using creativity to figure out how far in front of the green to land so that roll out would get on the green or possibly close to the hole; (4) rub of the green when an approach took a bad hop or hit a worm casting and topped.  The interesting, creative aspect was so endearing and ignited the passion of an entire generation of golfers.  I am gratified to have experienced such fun golf.
