In his teaching, he utilizes a unique state-of-the-art Putting Studio. The studio combines the simplicity of video capture using four separate camera angles with advanced image tracking. In the Putting Studio, the student is able to understand the faults in his/her putting approach. After the initial evaluation, the student will have increased awareness of the areas needing improvement in order to become a better putter. These areas could include set-up, stroke path, face angle, putter head speed, rhythm and head movement. Putter fitting frequently results from the initial evaluation.

For the 2010 golf season, The Chad Johansen Golf Academy is offering weekly $25 golf clinics. The clinics include: 1) Stop Slicing and hit the ball farther 2) Build a Better Golf Swing 3) Driving Long Distance 4) Beginners Golf Clinic 5) Bunker Play 6) Chipping and Pitching 7) Making more Putts. All participants will be enrolled for the chance to win an all inclusive trip to the 2011 Masters. The Academy also offers junior golf camps, a high school academy, TPI golf fitness programs, playing lessons, and many other services.
